The Stonewall Jackson Athletic Boosters Club was formed to encourage the involvement of students and their families, as well as the entire community, in the athletic programs at Stonewall Jackson High School. The Boosters Club is a community resource with potential to provide enriching experiences for everyone.

BENEFITING SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY

The Stonewall Jackson Athletic Boosters hope to build community spirit and pride by supporting the efforts of young people in whatever sport or activity they are involved in. High School athletic events are important for a community like Stonewall Jackson. An organized booster club with strong support from residents, businesses, and industries will provide benefits for the school and community.

PURPOSE OF THE SJHS ATHLETIC BOOSTERS

The goals and objectives of the SJHS Athletic Boosters are simple and straight forward. The boosters will strive to broaden the involvement of students, families, alumni, community, and school in the athletic programs at Stonewall Jackson High School.

THE BOOSTERS SEEK TO:

• Support, promote, and maintain a high standard of integrity and good sportsmanship in all athletic activities.
  
• Promote and encourage improved attendance at all sports activities as an active participant spectator, or volunteer.
  
• Promote and encourage student involvement in athletics as an active volunteer working as a statistician or manager.
  
• Raise funds to enhance all athletic programs and scholarship funds for students that excel academically and athletically at Stonewall Jackson High School.
