School Fusion (SJHS Website)
Student and parent accounts will not be changed over the summer. Any files kept on fusion accounts will remain intact. This also means that requests for password updates will not be answered. If you make sure your account has a valid email address under 'My Personal Settings' you will be able to reset your own passwords if needed.

EduLink
Intouch Online (also known as EduLink) will not be accessible from June 20 through August 18. Applications for user accounts and passwords will no longer be accepted until next school year as well. |

IB Summer Assignments
As preparation for the 2008-2009 school year, it is highly recommended that IB English students participate in the voluntary summer assignments program. Upcoming 9th grade MYP students should refer to the summer reading assignment on the county website. Other IB students, refer to the following assignments:

Damien Thigpen
Milestat.com selected Damien Thigpen as hurdler of the year. Damien was also selected as the athlete of the year by the Potomac News/ Manassas Journal.

Olivia Moran
Olivia Moran, a sophomore at Stonewall Jackson High School, is one of 10 winners nationwide honored in Washington, D.C. recently for achieving a perfect score in the Charles Schwab National Financial Literacy Challenge sponsored by the Department of the U.S. Treasury. The winners received an expenses-paid visit to Washington, D.C. and were recognized by the President’s Advisory Council. In addition, the winners will receive $2,500 scholarships at the college or university of their choice. An additional $1,000 is given in the students’ name to the high school or program that provided their financial education. Terri Fisher, business teacher at Stonewall Jackson High School, enrolled her class to take the Challenge.

Brentsville to SJHS Voluntary Transfer
The voluntary transfer option is open for current Brentsville students until August 1st. If you move into the area this summer, the transfer option is open for 30 days. Interested students need to complete a transfer request form and register with our guidance department. Please contact Mr. Nichols, Principal at nicholrd@pwcs.edu for additional information on this special transfer opportunity to help alleviate overcrowding at Brentsville.
